Origins BBQ was founded by two trained chefs Michael Gasson and Thomas Rose. Tired of working to the constraints of a busy kitchen and looking to share their passion for BBQ and Live fire cooking, they decided to found Origins BBQ and share that passion with the world.

Michael has 16 years of kitchen experience, including stints at Mark Sargents 3 AA Rosette restaurant ‘Rocksalt’ and has worked alongside the late Gary Rhodes.

Needless to say, with the level of experience Michael and Thomas have gained over their careers, you’re gonna’ be in safe hands at Red Rooster.
